Kathryn Koons has practiced law in the area of commercial real estate law for more than 35 years. She is the founding shareholder and President of Koons Real Estate Law, a commercial real estate boutique law firm, established in 1995.  Currently, she is representing clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing of land, residential subdivisions, apartments, office buildings, and other property types. In addition to serving The Hope Center Foundation, Kathryn is on the Advisory Board of Uptown Dallas, Inc. and is President of the Board of Wilkinson Center, a Texas non-profit that seeks to lift people out of poverty with an adult education program.

Kathryn has 2 daughters, 2 grandchildren and is married to John Ammons. Kathryn and John spend time enjoying their home near Mineral Wells, Texas on the Brazos River, but return to Dallas for work, family activities and community events.
