Job Title: Children’s Specialist
Reports to: Children’s Director
GENERAL SUMMARY
This position develops program expertise around the BSF Children’s Programs to support, integrate and strengthen ministry to children and leaders in BSF classes and future ministry offerings. This individual supports and coordinates logistics, processes and projects to include technology, field support, materials, training and events. This position primarily collaborates with many other departments including Communication, IT, Class Support, and Regional Directors in support and maintenance of the Children’s Program. This position reports to the Children’s Director, with a focus on day-to-day operations of existing programs and future development as requested.
Excellent technology, problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork and communication skills are necessary to represent the interests of the Children’s Department in daily work and field support.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide experience and expertise to support the Children’s Director and Ministry Development in effective management of existing BSF Children’s Programs
Support the Children’s Program in all aspects of Technology (program, projects), both current state and future state.
Develop and administer change management plans
Coordinate for internal and external activities that require inter/co-dependences
Maintains oversight of manual content and forms
Coordinates communication efforts such as Bulletin and Vision casting/talking points for AP/Class Staff.
Serves as a Children’s Program liaison to the field, especially AP, providing knowledge of CP policies, procedures, guiding principles.
Develop plans and innovations for class-level leadership, operations and communication.
Uphold Criminal Background processes, incorporating regional variables and legal priorities to protect BSF and its leaders and volunteers (oversight may be delegated to another)

Qualifications/ Experience:
2+ years’ experience as a CS, ACS or Area Team with Children’s leadership experience
Passion to reach the next generation most impactfully within the BSF context. Love for and experience with teaching and the development of children.
3+ years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite & web-based tools for remote collaboration.
Demonstrate thorough understanding and eagerness to uphold BSF vision, mission, core values, and aims as well as Children’s Program philosophies, essential policies and procedures
Spiritual Requirements:
Thorough understanding of the Christian faith and its doctrines and the BSF Statement of Faith. Follow Matthew 18 principles in addressing issues with fellow employees. Studying the Bible in preparation for each weekday’s group meeting. Lead staff prayer time and your table group Bible study as reasonably requested. Prepare for and attend each Day of Prayer. Participating in teaching and training events as reasonably requested.

ADDITONAL INFORMATION
This position is in the Grapevine/Midcities area of DFW. It is an in-person role when BSF relocates to Dallas. Candidates outside the state of Texas must relocate.
